UNIT 6 WRITING ACTIVITY 1ST ESO
Hi, boys and girls! We are learning how to describe what people are wearing and vocabulary related to clothes. So, we will go to the Medusa Room and we will do the following writing activity: We will describe what a man and a woman are wearing, writing as well the colours of the clothes... as we did in the digital board.
Steps to follow:
1. Choose two people's photographs (man and woman). They can be famous or not. You can go to google images or to Venca's website, or any other you like.
2. Try to choose a photograph where we can see the whole body.
3. Describe on a piece of paper what these people are wearing using the expressions "He is wearing...", "She is wearing..." or "They are wearing..."
4. Write the final version of the descripcion in a word document.
5. Save it in the computer's desktop. The teacher will save it in her pendrive too.
6. You will see your writing activity in http://www.englishinarinaga.wikispaces.com/

JUST TO THINK ABOUT! (SÓLO PARA REFLEXIONAR...)
INCREDIBLE SONG. THANKS PINK FOR SAYING SO MANY TRUTHS...
Listen to the song carefully and try to understand it! It's a song sang by Pink, a female singer to the former president of the USA, George Bush, and it is titled: Dear Mr. President. (canción dedicada a Goerge Bush cantada por Pink. Si no entienden la totalidad de la letra, aquí la tienen traducida.)

GRAMMAR 2ND ESO UNIT 7
In unit 7 we have worked on "Be going to" (for predictions as in the cartoon :-) and for future plans and intentions). Although the explanation is clear and almost everybody have understood the exercises we've done up to now, here we have more exercises to practice. Remember that "be going to" is the same as "gonna", specially in spoken English and in songs.
- Choose the right answer with Be going to: affirmative, negative or interrogative
- Uses of going to: Is it used for plans and intentions or for predictions?
REMEMBER: If you have any problem, ask me or write a comment!
